Avatar licensing

The avatars shipped with Liveswap are split into two categories, each with different usage rights.

1. Original commissioned portraits

Avatars rendered by DiceBear and Liveswap-original commissions are licensed for use on streams and recordings under your subscription. You may keep clips containing these avatars after cancellation; you may not sub-license, resell, or redistribute the raw avatar files.

2. Public-domain & Creative-Commons preset faces

Default preset faces (historical figures whose right of publicity has lapsed) are PD or CC-licensed. The full per-image attribution list is on the photo credits page. When a CC-BY or CC-BY-SA photo is used, attribution must be preserved in any redistribution.

What you may not do

Impersonate a specific living person without their written consent.
Use any avatar in a way that violates the platform you are streaming to (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, etc.).
Use any avatar in fraud, harassment, non-consensual sexual content, or election misinformation.
