What is Liveswap?
Liveswap is a real-time face-swap service for Twitch and YouTube Live streamers that runs as an OBS browser source. Paste one URL into OBS Sources, pick an avatar, and go live. The swap adds under 100 milliseconds of latency at 1080p60 and works with NVENC hardware encoding on any RTX-class GPU.
How it works
No install. No plugin. No driver. Works with your existing scene setup.
Copy your signed browser-source URL from this page. Add it in OBS: Sources → + → Browser → 1920×1080.
Preview any avatar on your own webcam live. Bind swap-to-avatar to a Stream Deck key if you like.
Hit Start Streaming in OBS. Viewers see the swapped face. You see your own cam in the preview window.
Features
Every feature lives where you already work — OBS Sources, Stream Deck keys, scene switches. Nothing you have to learn from scratch.
One signed URL. Paste, set 1080p, done. No plugin install, no admin rights.
Measured added latency on a Ryzen 7 7700 + RTX 4070. Worst case 140 ms on 2019 hardware.
Bind SWAP FACE / RESET / NEXT AVATAR to physical keys via our JSON endpoint.
Different avatar in CAM_ONLY vs JUST_CHATTING vs GAMEPLAY. Scene change, face change, no reload.
Runs alongside NVENC HEVC / AV1 without stealing GPU cycles. Tested bitrate 6000 kbps clean.
Checked against Twitch's 2026-04 community guidelines on face alteration. Details in the Policy section.

Use cases
The five workflows that drove the first thousand creators to bind it to a Stream Deck key.
Who Liveswap is for
The first wave of real-time face-swap tools was built for cinematic post-production. Expensive GPUs, long bake times, broadcast clients who paid in five figures. That's not a streamer's workflow.
Liveswap is the inversion. Server-side GPUs so your rig stays free for the game. One URL into OBS because that's already how every streamer adds a new source. A Stream Deck binding because you already own the device and you're going to hit the key anyway.
Pricing is the contract, not a claim. If we don't hit <100 ms at 1080p60 on the rig you say you have, the session is free — no credit card argument.

FAQ
No. Liveswap is a standard OBS browser source. You paste a URL into Sources → Add → Browser, set the width to 1920 and height to 1080, and you're done. No .zip, no admin rights, no driver.
We measure 72 ms added at 1080p60 on a Ryzen 7 7700 + RTX 4070, 96 ms at 720p60 on an RTX 3060, and 140 ms worst case on 2019-era hardware. If your measured latency is higher than our published number for your rig tier, the session is free.
Yes, as of the 2026-04 TOS review. Twitch community guidelines allow face alteration for entertainment; impersonation of specific real people without consent is not allowed and Liveswap avatars are all licensed original portraits. YouTube Live has a similar stance. Our /policy page keeps the current TOS citations.
Yes, on the Creator and Partner plans. We expose a JSON endpoint that Stream Deck's System > Website or a custom plugin can call. Common bindings: SWAP FACE 01-03, NEXT AVATAR, RESET FACE, SCENE: CAM_ONLY.
No. The face swap runs on our servers. Your local machine is doing only OBS browser-source rendering, which costs a few percent of CPU. Your NVENC / AV1 encoder keeps the full budget for the game capture.
On Partner. We license it, verify consent, and add it as a slot in your account. Turnaround is 72 hours. On Creator you pick from the 50+ built-in avatars, which refresh monthly.
Go live as anyone on Twitch, YouTube Live, or Kick. Thirty minutes a day is free — no credit card.
